The concert "Tocar Na Banda" was made available on the first streaming platform of Brazilian shows
Owner of one of the most beautiful voices of Brazilian popular music, Vânia Bastos is long road singer. Known for her work in the so-called avant-garde of São Paulo, participated in the worshiped and classic disc "Clara Crocodilo" (1980), of Arrigo Barnabé. She was also part of the band Isca de Polícia, support group of the late Itamar Assumpção.
From the late 1980s, followed in solo career, however, always collaborating with great artists of national music, like Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento and Eduardo Gudin. In 2007 she released the DVD "Tocar Na Banda", title alrelated to the classic of Adoniran Barbosa, and that runs very successfully in this show recorded in the theater of the Sesc Vila Mariana, in São Paulo.
In the show, Vânia features great songs that permeated her life. A true tour of compositions of Arrigo Barnabé, Itamar Assumpção, Caetano Veloso, Tom Jobim and many others.
Released on DVD in 2007 by Dabilú Discos, "Tocar Na Banda" is available at WePlay, the first streaming platform for Brazilian shows. The availability of the show in the catalog is the result of a partnership between the platform and the digital distributor Tratore.
