Responsible for playing the first chords on a Coala Festival stage, a renowned Brazilian music festival that had its debut edition in 2014, the group 5 a Seco returns to the event 10 years later, this time for a reunion.

Comprised of Tó Brandileone, Pedro Altério, Pedro Viáfora, Leo Bianchini, and Vinicius Calderoni, 5 a Seco was formed in 2009 and was active until 2019 when it announced a hiatus. Returning to action to take the stage at Coala Festival 2024 (the group is the first attraction announced by the production), the band is preparing a unique show, featuring a revival of hits like "Pra Você Dar o Nome," "Em Paz," and "Geografia Sentimental."

"We're experiencing an intense mix of euphoria and butterflies in the stomach with the dimension of returning to the stage after five years of pause, precisely at a festival as important to us as Coala," shares Vinicius Calderoni, who adds: "we're going to put on a show to embrace the crazy catharsis of this reunion, revisiting important songs from our repertoire, playing publicly for the first time songs from 'Pausa,' and, who knows, signaling the future."

For Gabriel Andrade, co-founder and curator of the festival, the group's presence at this year's edition is very special. "5 a Seco has marked our history, and they couldn't miss being part of Coala Festival 2024. We are very happy with this reunion for the commemorative tenth-year edition. I'm sure it will be a great show," he points out.

Coala Festival takes place on September 6, 7, and 8 at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo. Tickets are available on the official website.
